The concept stems from the topography of the location and the relation of the artificial – the house, and the natural – the cliff. 

The body of the building is divided into two independent volumes so as to achieve the scale of the environment and the location.

Rational, geometric design is juxtaposed to the organic accents of the cliff and the natural surrounding.

The design clearly sets off and stresses the fact that the construction is contrary to “nature” and that in the interrelations of those two extremes a new “urban-natural” quality is created.
